If you can imagine the sound of the line screaming off your
reel, the heart pounding excitement as a world-class
freshwater sport fish launches from the water, you've come
to the right place!
Welcome
to the Great River, one of the worlds greatest and most
productive sport fishing rivers. The Fraser River is the last
remaining river in the world to have a healthy wild population
of White Sturgeon. The only other two rivers with these fish
are the Columbia and Sacramento River, but both are supplemented
with a hatchery program. Whether you want a fishing trip to
fish for a giant white sturgeon or the mighty Chinook Salmon,
it's all right here. Experience the WPFG's event of a lifetime!

Canadian Monster Power: Sturgeon Fishing
Canada by Mick Rouse and Ben Miles

Second only to the mighty White Sturgeon is our yearly run

of the pacific salmon and when hooked put up a spectacular
fight, capable of long powerful runs.
Chinook over 30 pounds are common but salmon over 50 or 60
pounds are hooked often enough to keep life exciting. read
