A great Father & Son Fishing Vacation. We were thrilled to host both Brian and his father Denny for a couple of days of Sturgeon and Pink Salmon fishing. Brian (a Calgary Bow River fly fisherman) referred to the Pink Salmon Fishing on the fly as exceeding his expectations. He was also amazed at how productive the Sturgeon Fishery was and you got to know that when you can take a fly fisherman and put him on a Sturgeon rod, that's really something. On their 2nd day of Sturgeon fishing they hooked into a 10 ft. plus fish. An incredible vision of this fish jumping out of the water, I'm sure will be a lasting memory until their next trip.
 

Ideal Installations
Gary brought his crew out for a day of fishing on the Fraser River. Once again fun and camaraderie being the focus of the day, but catching as many fish as they did was the icing on the cake. Pink Salmon and Sturgeon were the catches of the day, nice fish Guys! Hopefully we will have you all back again for many outings in the future. See you in 2004!

Maax Westco

Michel and Lise brought their company out for their 2nd annual fishing weekend. Friday September 19th was the meet and greet with a nice dinner and a few drinks. On Saturday morning everyone was up early and eager to get going. We picked a nice gravel bar on the Fraser River where we could fit all 23 fishers. It wasn't long before everybody was catching fish on both spinning gear and Fly gear (we even taught some to fly fish for their 1st time). Everyone caught on real fast with no trouble landing some great fish! In about 4 hours almost everyone had their limit (men and women alike) and all were anxious to go out and catch some Great White Sturgeon. Off we went to the lower part of the River (just out from the Vedder Canal), to see what our luck would bring. Sturgeon Fishing had been good in the prior weeks and today again would be no exception. Almost everyone brought in some of these incredible fighters (I know that Michel had his hands full fighting against the pulling power of these fish!). To top off the day Paul's team landed an incredible 8ft Sturgeon, once again giving him the biggest fish 2 years in a row. It was good to see familiar faces again and some new faces as well. All in all it was perfect weather, great fishing and lots of fun and laughs. We look forward to hosting you again in the 2004 Season.

B & G Fishing Derby

Once again Tim and B & G have put together another fun day on the river with a great group of guys. Some nice Chinook (King) Salmon were landed around the 30 lb range. The barbeque lunch was sure a hit, Buffalo Burgers all around. Plumbers can really pack away the food and they kept Vic busy flipping burgers and Farmer Sausage. What an excellent way to get everyone together. Hey Mike, we couldn't resist the opportunity to show everyone how you mix business with pleasure. (Thanks Mike for being so much fun) From this outing we have decided to put together a Fall Sturgeon Derby 2003 "Battle of the Sexes" for sometime in the first week of November.
