What
a way to spend a day! The excitement of reeling in a big sturgeon was
awesome. Dean was a great guide, friendly with lots of stories, while
sitting back in a big comfortable boat with plenty of food and fish;
topped off with terrific weather, what more can you ask for. It was a
day I won't soon forget. - Courtney Cave

This was a fishing
experience like I've never had. With a wonderful guide, great weather
and most importantly lots of sturgeon, it was a once in a lifetime
experience. - Dolan Gadoury

Hi
Dean,
If you could pass on to Davie on a title of a book, that I was telling
him about the great fight with a marlin and the old fishermen, it's
called "The old man and the sea". It's also a movie, it's a story every
fishermen should read or at least know. It catches the true essence of
the great fight of man and beast. Thanx
'As for my day on the water for my thirtieth...
I couldn't have asked for a better day, calm water, no breeze, no rain,
and small short breaks of sun and great company that could keep up with
yammering!
The day started off slow but the scenery was well worth being out, my
first catch of four feet reminded me of who was man and who was beast.
Preparing me for my second prehistoric beast. But when dusk came along
and we headed back for shore we stopped at one last hole and sure
enough, a bite!
That bite made me work, that
fish screamed that line out and every time I reeled in, sure enough, he
would
go for broke and head back out. I was thrown about the boat and my arms
burned and my back ached but I was loving every minute of it! This is
what I came for, the struggle, the fight, the test! To hear that line
scream and feel that fresh moist air and smell the of fish. He finally
came splashing up to the boat and we lugged him in and what a beaut! A
whole five foot and some more... I couldn't have asked for a better day,
I had a spectacular time not only catching the fish but learning about
the Fraser and the Sturgeon and much more about the area. Great River

Hi there Dean,
Just recovered from the jet lag and thought I'd better pen you a quick
email to thank you for the most excellent all round 4 day adventure of
my life, catching the fish were just the icing on the cake for an
amazing vacation.
Both Greg and yourself are first class guides and fishermen and I would
like to regard you both as good friends also. Catching any size Sturgeon
is an enthralling experience and one I intend to repeat
within
the next twelve months, attached is a photo of the 6ft + "dinosaur".
Next time I visit I can only hope to have as much fun and excitement
again and will be bringing my Dad along for the best days fishing he's
ever had or ever going to have.
I'm going to get my arms in training as just looking at the photo still
makes them ache :-)
I will see you again very soon in the future and thanks again for a very
enjoyable and professional fishing adventure.
Save the BIG 1 for me, take care, best regards

Dean and Greg
Thank you for a superb fishing holiday!
Great fishing boat - throbbing V8, waterproof, comfy and very safe - all
from a chap who hates boats!!
Great tackle provided - whether sturgeon fishing, fly fishing or even
the dreaded bottom-bouncing flossing!
Great water knowledge.
Great company.
From the time one is picked up at the hotel in the morning, driven to
the boat launch, taken to the fishing beat, given fishing tips, fed and
watered and then after 8 hours fishing and fun taken back to the hotel
bar early evening, the total effect is of fishing pleasure.
Thanks to you boys I am now a sturgeon fisher and next to fly fishing it
is the best freshwater fishing I have ever experienced anywhere in the
world!
The whole sturgeon experience is awesome from the hook-up to the
capture, the tagging, the photos and the careful release.
The fighting qualities of the sturgeon are remarkable leaving me with an
aching back and the abiding sight of an 8 foot fish launching itself out
of the water and tail walking just behind the boat before shooting off
on a hundred and fifty yard run fighting full drag on a shimano
multiplyer full of 90lb B.S.Mono!!!
Definitely coming back in April 2005 for the steelhead fly fishing and
those intoxicting, beautiful grey ghost sturgeon.
Martin
