Just
wanted to say Thanx again for the awesome
sturgeon trip your team has provided
for my family and I. The experience
was excellent again, your guide provide
was an excellent companion for our day
and he spoke very highly about the whole
team from office staff to all the other
guides. We were very please to be able
to be fishing with Jim again. I am definitely
hooked on Dinosour Hunting and will
be looking forward to my next adventure.

Dean and Team;
Myself Jim & John would like to thank you all for an excellent fishing
holiday, testimonies time.
Went to Great River Fishing for 10 days fishing with high hopes our
hopes were exceeded 10 times over, the guides put us on fish daily,
boats are fantastic, fishing gear top of the range and the fishing out
of this world. First day our guide Dave said we would take it easy after
our flight from Scotland so he took us sturgeon fishing we caught fish
up to nine foot and those fish can fight. We also went out with Greg who
put us on to fish, sturgeon and salmon, we caught more salmon in a day
on the Fraser and Harrison than we have caught at home in a season. This
is the fishing holiday of a lifetime and we will be back.

On a Break from Spring training camp, a few of the B.C. Lions players
were able to experience some great fishing while in Chilliwack. Along
with guide, Dean Werk of Great River Fishing, Jason Clermont, Cory
Mantyka, Kelly Bates, Carl Kidd, Otis Floyd and Dave Dickenson spent the
day fighting Sturgeon on the Fraser River. “I caught the biggest fish of
the day,” said Carl Kidd. This was up for debate though, as everyone
boasted about their trophy catches. “It only seemed like the largest
fish because he had so much trouble reeling it in,” joked Cory Mantyka,
“Mine was actually heavier.” Dave caught one, and Cory fought a
monster-of-a-Sturgeon. “It was a great day of fishing,” said Dave
Dickenson, “I can’t wait for the opportunity to go out again with Dean
and his crew.”

Dean, Once
again thanks for a fabulous experience and looking after us so well.
This is something everyone should try at least once. We were not there
during the salmon run (they get 60 million through in the August-October
period) so had to content ourselves with flyfishing some unbelievably
scenic venues and slugging it out with the biggest freshwater fish on
the planet, albeit not on the fly.
We were fabulously looked after and "I'll be back" in the salmon season.

Hi Dean,
Everyone had such an awesome time on Saturday, Mel and Todd are already
talking about when they are coming back next, maybe for a sturgeon and
salmon adventure! I will get Mel and Tod to send some pictures from
their boat for the recent adventure page, I'm sure they will be
thrilled. I'll send you the pictures as soon as I get them hopefully in
the next couple days. Thanks again for the excellent day!
